FIVE CHILDREN of Franciszka and Jan Slon were
born in Poland between 1866 and 1890.

After reaching their later teens for various reasons they emigrated to the United States of America (1880-1900). They were processed at Ellis Island and came to Buffalo. First they boarded with family or friends and then from their meager savings bought property within two miles of each other. They were devout Catholics and belonged to Polish American parishes.
